Quick and Delicious French Toast- gluten-free, top 9 allergen free
Are you someone that loves breakfast for any meal? Our house is divided in this, but we all share a love for French toast and we think you will too. French toast is quick to make and it makes an ordinary breakfast, extraordinary. Food has bonded people together since the beginning of time, so we want to ensure many people can joyfully eat our foods. Therefore, an option for our vegan friends is below as well as an option for our egg eating friends.
French Toast
3 Eggs, 3/4 Cup Egg whites, or 3/4 Cup Aquafaba (garbanzo bean water)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2/3 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1-1/4 Tablespoons Powdered sugar (refined sugar free option below)
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
15 slices of Rustic Scoop Sandwich Bread
Directions
Prepare a large frying pan with a drizzle of your favorite oil. (Note: we don't recommend avocado oil because it's not non-stick) We use olive oil, but any non-stick oil would work. Heat your frying pan on medium while you prepare the French toast mixture. In a medium sized flat bottom container, put all of the ingredients together and mix thoroughly. Place one slice of bread at a time in the mix, coating one side, then flipping over to coat the other side. Then place your coated slice of bread in your frying pan. Repeat until your frying pan is full. Fry until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip and repeat. Each side should take approximately 3-4 minutes. Makes approximately 15 slices of French Toast. Eat with pure maple syrup or any other topping you prefer. Enjoy!
